Study objectives
We are working o recruit individuals that experience acute pancreatitis caused by high triglyceride levels.
The aim of this study is to better understand people’s experience managing acute pancreatitis episodes and gather feedback on a form that has been developed to help people keep a record of their acute pancreatitis episodes. The study will involve completing a 10-minute background questionnaire and a 90-minute interview conducted via video call (e.g., Zoom). In order to take part, you will be required to provide evidence of having high triglycerides (fasting triglyceride levels of ≥ 500 mg/dL (>5.6 mmol/L), e.g., screenshot of your patient portal), as well as evidence of having had an overnight stay in hospital due to acute pancreatitis in your lifetime (e.g., a hospital discharge note).
You will be reimbursed for completing participating in this study.
